Longboard Asset Management is an alternative mutual fund manager, specializing in long-term trend following strategies. Our team of alternative investment consultants works directly with financial professionals on how to maximize the potential of their portfolios.
- A great attitude and positive outlook
- Strong research skills – to collect information using a variety of sources
- A decisive nature- to be able to quickly make intuitive decisions with limited facts
- Knowledge of MS Office products, with an emphasis on Excel
- Interpersonal skills- to collect information over the phone
- Strong organizational skills
- Results driven personality with strong organizational skills- Your primary function is to sort leads to maximize resources on the sales team. We have KPIs and metrics to measure your ability to do this, we place a high value on innovation within this role.
- Experience and aptitude for understanding systems
- Experience in mutual funds and/or alternative investments
- Experience with Salesforce
- Computer science background
- Interest in a digital marketing or research

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will use your research skills to mine through websites and databases, and your passion for solving puzzles and uncovering clues to identify leads that would be likely to benefit from our alternative investment experience. Your intuitive nature and uncanny ability to make decisions with limited facts will be a great asset to you in this role.

When you aren’t scouring the internet or creating spreadsheets, you will be using your people skills while working closely with our sales team to hone your ability to identify qualified leads, and relaying helpful information that allows them to maximize their time with prospective clients.
