WHO ARE WE?
Longboard Asset Management is an alternative mutual fund manager, specializing in long-term trend following strategies. Our team of alternative investment consultants works directly with financial professionals on how to maximize the potential of their portfolios.
- A great attitude and positive outlook
 - An interest in the world of finance
 - Strong interpersonal skills- to interact with prospective clients over the phone
 - A decisive nature- to be able to quickly make intuitive decisions with limited facts
 - Knowledge of MS Office products, with an emphasis on Excel
 - Results driven personality with strong organizational skills- Your primary function is to set appointments to maximize resources on the sales team. We have KPIs and metrics to measure your ability to do this, and we place a high value on innovation within this role.
 - Experience in high volume outbound call environment
 - Experience in mutual funds and/or alternative investments
 - Experience with Salesforce

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Learn and understand the Longboard culture and sales process. Teamwork and collaboration are cornerstones at Longboard, and immersing yourself within the people and processes will be your foundation on which to grow.
Learn the world of liquid alternatives and how we fit into that space. This also includes preparing for and successfully passing the Series 65 exam.
Find 8-10 advisors per month who have a need for our product, and nurture and grow that relationship.
